    Accounting Assistant

     

    GNH Services has an opportunity for a part-time Accounting Assistant to join our team. Do you have a High School Degree plus completion of a minimum two year post-secondary education with a focus in accounting?     Responsibilities

    Main Responsibilities Include

    • Assist AP with virtual sorting and filing of credit card receipts in Job Costs Spectrum files (including circulating and obtaining necessary approvals for credit card receipts). 
    • Assist in printing and distribution invoices and receipts received through the email
    • Assist in submitting and confirming vendor invoices, preparing checks for approval and mailing and filing checks and invoices.
    • When processing credit card receipts, maintain awareness and challenge reasonableness of charges based upon information available.
    • Maintain Trip It Travel Log
    • Assist with tracking and processing change requests and change orders as requested.
    • Assist with special project and temporary AR/AP support assignments as requested.
    • Assist key employees with various administrative duties as needed
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.
    • Offer suggestions for improvements to ensure a safe working environment in office and field.
    • Lead from your position at all times.           
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and values of the company.
    • Ensure tasks and projects are completed accurately and on time.
    • Manage all employee issues in a timely fashion with 100% customer satisfaction.
    • Provide excellent customer service at all times to employees, Management, Leadership and Candidates.
    • Adhere to the policies and procedures of the GNH family of companies.
    • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Qualifications

    Our ideal candidate would possess the following competencies:

    • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
    • Attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to focus during repetitive tasks
    • Intermediate verbal and written skills with grammatical precision
